Meet Our Founders.
“Growing up, I always had a heart for foster youth and families. I graduated in 2018 with my BSW from Auburn University, and immediately started working for a therapeutic foster care agency in Alabama. As a foster care social worker, I saw daily the challenges that these youth face, the opposition that surrounds them, and the lack of quality resources available as they transition into independent living. My husband, David, and I have always had a desire to meet the needs of these youth in a tangible way, and provide them with community, resources and tangible support. Our hope and prayer is that Make It Matter: The Collective will be a safe and intentional landing pad for these youth and young adults as they navigate the calling the Lord has for their life!”
